Xbox One Remote Controller Driver Error Windows 7
Just picked up an Xbox One controller with Bluetooth connectivity. I recall disabling the Bluetooth Support Service as part of some of the Windows services I would normally disable if not using them. I have re-enabled Bluetooth Support Service but the controller is still refusing to connect.
I've gone to settings/Devices/Bluetooth & other devices and clicked on add Bluetooth or other device for which it says 'Couldn't connect'.
I don't have any Bluetooth icon in my Action center.
I've run the Bluetooth troubleshooter for which it says 'Select the repairs you want to apply' 'Check Bluetooth compatibility' then with a tick box that says No Bluetooth. After clicking next it says 'Bluetooth is not available on this device'
I'm at a loss, help?
I only see xbox one controller and xbox gaming device, both do not work. Edit- Download Major Nelson drivers alongside the windows update ones it downloads when you plug the controller in. Those will add in the right drivers in the device manager driver selector.
Xbox One Remote Controller Driver Error Codes
When you update your Xbox controller, you get the latest controller improvements. You can update your controller wirelessly or via USB. For help with update problems, see Troubleshoot update issues with your Xbox One Controller. I just received the wireless stick and a xbox one controler from microsoft. It is not working wireless. I got Windows 10 enterprise with the latest updates. When i connect the controler with any USB Cable, it works perfectly. When i plug in the wireless stick, it shows 'XBOX ACC' without a driver in the device manager. Search for a driver fails.
